My Story...
Welcome to Drop of Gold Keepsakes! My name is Tatiana. I'm a mama to three beautiful children, and the one woman show behind Drop of Gold Keepsakes.
Breastfeeding was a big part of our lives in the first few years, so I wanted to commemorate that journey in a very special way. I had always seen these stunning pieces made by other companies, but never found something that was "me", while also being in my budget at the time. I found a gold vintage ring at an antique store and used it to create my first piece of breastmilk jewelry! I added a lock of each of my first two children's hair and I remember being so proud of that accomplishment.
I had so much fun creating something unique that held meaningful value to me. Having been in touch with so many other breastfeeding mothers over the years as one of the creators of a breastfeeding support group online, it inspired me to venture out and offer my services locally. After a while, I realized I could use that skillset to create cremation and other memorial pieces as well, and now ,5 years later, we're here! I have since created my own cremation jewelry using my great grandmothers cremated remains as well as so many other beautiful pieces for my wonderful customers.
This journey has been so special, getting to meet so many lovely people and seeing how much meaning both breastmilk and memorial pieces hold. I absolutely love seeing your reactions and feedback and I hope I can continue to bring a little joy to people's lives in this way in the future!
