How does this work?
The process is made simple and easy! After placing your order, you will be sent a collection kit for your inclusion according to the inclusion option you choose at checkout. For orders local to the Sierra Vista, AZ area, local meetup is always an option. Once I receive your inclusion, your order will take it's place in my queue. Inclusions received will be updated on the Order Status page of the website.
The current processing time can be found on the Order Status page and can vary as my current workload changes. You will receive an email once your order has shipped. If you're wondering if your inclusion has made it to me, I recommend saving your tracking number for the package and checking the 'Order Status' tab of the website. The page will be updated as inclusions are received with the order number and the date the inclusion was received.
Non-local orders are shipped with USPS.
What inclusions can be used?
Accepted inclusions include:
-cremation ashes (human and pet)
-breastmilk
-hair
-umbilical cords
-teeth
-locks of hair
-dehydrated placenta
-dried flowers
-fabric and fibers

How do I mail my inclusion?
Cremated Remains
Once your order is placed, I will send you a collection kit for the ashes. The ash collection kit will contain a small vial for the ashes, a zip bag to put the vial in, instructions on mailing, and a prepaid mailer.
Breastmilk
Once your order is placed, I will send you a collection kit for the milk. The breastmilk collection kit will contain a sterile breastmilk storage bag, a zip bag to put the storage bag in, instructions on mailing, and a prepaid mailer.
All other inclusions
Once your order is placed, I will send you a collection kit for your selected inclusion. The collection kit will contain a small zip bag labeled with your name and order number, instructions on mailing, and a prepaid mailer.
How to care for your Jewelry
Caring for your inclusion jewelry is simple! Follow these few guidelines to ensure the longevity of your special keepsake.

Avoid exposure excess moisture and prolonged exposure to water. Take your jewelry off before showering, bathing, and other water activities. This can begin breaking down the resin used to create your inclusion stone.

Avoid prolonged exposure to UV rays, as it will cause yellowing.

Take your rings and bracelets off when cleaning to avoid exposure to cleaning chemicals. These may cause deterioration of resin in the stone.

For plated jewelry, avoid care products such as hairspray and lotions as these may cause tarnishing of the metal as well as exposure to water and moisture.

DO wear your sterling silver jewelry often. This will protect it from tarnishing and developing dark spots. If your silver jewelry develops dark spots, you can polish it with a soft polishing cloth, silver polish or a small dab of toothpaste (Keep toothpaste off of the stones).
Jewelry Guarantee
I stand by my work and it's quality. With that said, Drop of Gold Keepsakes is not responsible for regular wear and tear on your jewelry. If there is ever an issue with your Inclusion stone, please let me know and I will replace or fix the inclusion stone at no charge up to 12 months after delivery of your jewelry.
This replacement policy does not apply to metal work that was not done by me.
Please do let me know if there is a problem with any of the metal components in your jewelry, so I know if there is an issue that needs to be addressed with my suppliers. I will do my best to fix any issues that may come up.
Refund and Cancellation policy
I accept cancellations within 48 hours of the order being placed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery of inclusions. Refunds will not be provided for orders that are missing an inclusion.
All orders placed will be valid for 1 year. If inclusions are not provided during this timeframe, the customer can choose to keep the original order and send in their inclusion, or use the dollar amount of the original order as a credit on the website to apply to a different order. There will be no order cancellation at that point.
I do not accept returns due to the nature of the work I do. I can however swap certain inclusion stones into a different jewelry piece for a fee. The fee will depend on the items.
In this case, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
If an order was placed within 24 hours before a sale, I will gladly price match the sales price by issuing a partial refund. This policy does not apply to orders placed more than 24 hours outside of the start of the sale.

1. Products and Services
All our jewelry is handmade and may vary slightly in appearance. Custom pieces, including breastmilk or cremation jewelry, are made to order and may take up to 16 weeks to complete. This processing time will vary depending on several factors, such as supply availability, preservation process and work load.
2. Payments
We accept secure payments via Wix Payments (accepts all major credit cards), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Affirm and Afterpay. All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
3. Shipping
We ship domestically in the United States. Delivery times may vary based on location and order volume. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs.
4. Returns and Refunds
Due to the personalized nature of our products, all custom orders are final sale and non-refundable. Non-custom items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in unused condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, designs, and text, is the property of Drop of Gold Keepsakes and may not be copied or used without permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products. Please handle all jewelry with care and keep out of reach of children.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website indicates acceptance of any changes.
